Organic Skin Care Products

As many people are starting to become more health and lifestyle concious there has been a boom in the amount of organic cosmetics and natural skin care products available in our favorite high street stores and online. Most of opt for or un-natural skin care products and cosmetics for several reasons spanning from not understanding organic products to the high price tags that some stores have attached to them. Here we explain what organic skin care products are and reccomend a few for you to try that won’t break the bank!

So let’s start with the basics, organic simply means something that derives from living organisms such as animals and plants – so basically it is all the natural stuff we see around us. Products that are not organic or not natural are often made with harsh chemicals, colorants and perfumes – which let’s face it are not really great for our skin!

For instance, how many differant types of mousturizer or foundation have you tried that are not natural or organic? I for one have been through hundreds of brands with many of them making my face break out or becoming even dryer than before. This was one of the reasons I decided to turn to natural skin care products.

When I thought about it it made complete sense, my old makeup and products were filled with ingredients I couldn’t even pronounce let alone tell you what they were and all seemed like something from a science lesson! If I put these harsh ingredients on my skin they would obviously do it no good.

Natural skin care creams and products need not be expensive, for instance try buying online at sites such as http://www.skinbotanica.com they have a wide range of products for under $50 that can be delivered worldwide. These include a balancing facial moisturizer by Suki for less than $30 and can be bought via our blog by for less! The natural moisterizer contains sunflower, lavander, jojoba and rose extract giving it a lovely floral aroma. The great thing about this product is it lasts for a long time as you only need to apply one or two drops a day!

Another product I would recommend is Aromafloria creme glow polish in Green Tea Bamboo. Costing only $26 it’s great for using on areas of the skin that are rough or dry plus its a great way to build up the defense and strength of your skin as it contains natural antioxidants. Ingrediants in this polish include beeswax, bamboo powder and a sweet smelling shea butter.
